Independence Day

4th of July, Country Picnic at La Viña Winery – July 4, 2019 from 11:30 AM – 6 PM

50th Anniversary Apollo Moon Landing Celebration – Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 7:30 PM

Why this might interest you: Can you believe it’s been 50 years since the first moon landing? Spend Time With Nature

Women Hike – Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 7 AM 

Location:  Wyler Aerial Tramway State Park located at 1700 McKinley Ave.

Admission: Free!

Why this might interest you: What better way to reconnect with your best friends than on an early morning hike amid the fresh air? This quick hike around El Paso’s iconic mountain could be the start of a new tradition for you and your girlfriends. And why not follow it with brunch?    

Last Sunday Hike – Sunday July 28, 2019 at 7 AM (meet at 6:45 AM at the park’s parking lot)

Location:  Wyler Aerial Tramway State Park located at 1700 McKinley Ave.

Admission: Free!

Why this might interest you: This roughly four-hour hike will take you up the Directisimo trail and through the Ranger Loop trail, around the peak of the Wyler Aerial Tramway State Park, then back down. If you’re an avid hiker and have yet to explore the Franklin Mountains, this is the perfect opportunity to do so! It’s also a great way to end your month.
